The Drifters

Do you have favorite comedy groups?   I will introduce Japanese comedy group The Drifters. In 1970's and middle of 1980's, they were very famous in Japan. From the beginning, they were musicians but they changed to  comedians. Their most famous  TV program is「hachijidayo!zenninn shuugou(８時だョ！全員集合)」 This TV program is very fun and fascinates us. Even now, it is famous for young people and elderly people. It is a good comedy group due to the casting, the acting, and the comedy skits.

Perhaps the best point of this comedy group is the casting. This group consists of five people. Ikariya Chosuke, Takaki Bu, Nakamoto Koji, Kato Cha, and Shimura Ken. The top of group is Ikariya Chosuke. He has already died. He often acts as master and mother. His character is short-tempered when he is acting. In fact, he is kind and loved by many people. My favorite cast member is Shimura Ken. He is a very unrestrained person and very funny. I love him. And his TV program 「bakatonosama(バカ殿様）」is foolish and fun. I like it. I recommend you should watch it.

This comedy group's characteristic is acting. This comedy group's acting is very fun and fascinate us. If you watch this comedy group's comedy skit, you will have a laugh. As an example comedy skit scene; Ikariya is master. The other members are disciples. They are learned form of fencing using bamboo swords by Ikariya.
But they don't obey and resist him. The scene is very fun. There are funny comedy skit scenes so you should watch their comedy skit!

There are many comedy skits. They make us happy and smile so you will never tire and love them more and more.
Moshimosiriizu「もしもシリーズ」this is many parts of situation. For example, geothermal spring, Chinese noodle shop, and drinking shop and so on...
so they never make us tired. They are very funny.

I like The Drifters. It makes me happy. I recommend you should have favorite comedy group. It makes you happy.
